As a csm in the corporate world looking for a new role, AI is everywhere. When interviewing it’s all about how you use it and how effective does it make your job better. Unpopular opinion, I don’t care for it. I only use it at work when I am told to. How do you think that affects my success in a new role, in the interviewing process? I am just so order AI. Why should I be pushed aside because I don’t love it?

Because it’s an expectaction from the employer. Unless you have some other job lined up, you have to comply.

It demonstrates you are ahead of the curve. Can you adapt to new markets and work environments? Early adoption of AI shows that plus it gives you an edge over others and likely makes you more efficient.

I’m an American and have an interview for AWS UK. How different should I expect my salary to be. I know they’ll pay me in £, but I’ve heard salaries in the UK are significantly lower than the US. Is it likely I’ll get the higher salary since I’m coming from the US?

I had an old boss join my company recently. They weren’t my direct report at my old company, but was my manager’s manager. Well, my new boss took me aside for a meeting and stated “there’s a negative perception going around about you”. She stated that her, my old boss and another member of current leadership were talking about the way I speak. She then says that my former boss told them that I wasn’t energetic enough in my last role. How should k handle this? My boss is agreeing with her

User Testing Question:

I am adding user testing to our flow (we already have live ab testing). People are very excited for it and want to test everything, but not everything they want to test seems testable or valuable to test.

1 As a people pleaser, how do I determine what tests are valuable and explain that?

2 One manager wants to test the exit intent of a page (hitting x or idleing too long prompts a "almost there" modal), how could I effectively test it? Should we just test live?

For those who were diagnosed as an adult can you provide some insight into how you were able to obtain a diagnosis. I went to my primary care dr who referred me to another dr who specialized in mental health. He asked me about 5 questions before telling me I should see a neuropsychologist for an official assessment. The referral he gave me is super pricey and apparently isn’t covered by insurance. Is that normal?

Round or exact numbers on banners/LPs? I was curious about this since in negotiations for example or pricing it's better to have the exact number. But if you have a case study, for example, is it better to say "Client X increased their revenue to 1,000,000 ARR" instead of "Client X increased their revenue to 987,500 ARR" ? Anyone has seen any impact on conversion rates?

Any ideas as to what (if anything) to do?
