Hi Fishes,
I had HR discussion with EXL Service for data science role. They are offering me:
Fixed - 18.5lpa(15 base ctc+ 3.5 practice premium)
Variable - 1.5lpa
JB-4L
I tried to convince them to increase in fixed and can reduce the jb part, but hr told leadership is not agreeing to increase the fixed part. Rather they increase jb from 3.5 to 4L. What should I do? Please suggest.
Overall exp - 4.5yrs, current offer from top product based is 18.05lpa fixed + 1.5variable with 1.5jb.

Got 10 % mid year hike on a fine day unexpectedly which pushed my cctc to 29.2
We have 60k ceo bonus and 18% variable pay I am getting since last 4 years.
After checking lot of posts here it seems I am on low ctc here.
How much should I target next and which companies ?

Lmfaoooooo y’all are assholes. We need a little bit more info to accurately assess OP. I’d guess at $80k though
Analyst is 50k
$110-$130K. Range should be similar in both cities. Caveat: This is if you have experience in an established consulting firm or the industry
If you’re looking at consulting, I wouldn’t take anything less than $110k. If not consulting, I wouldn’t take anything less than $95k.
DC is more expensive though fyi. cost of living (food etc) may be about the same or a bit cheaper in chicago but rent is more expensive in DC. whatever 1 br you see in chicago, add $500 and that’s about your DC rent.
😂. I should have probably say what type of analytics work I do and mention my double masters degrees. I made more than that in college. I’m more in between data science and advanced analytics roles in optimization and predictive analytics.
350-400k
These were the ranges I was expecting. Thanks.
Wtf 5+ years and only 100k? That’s soooo low
