Yes, but that's a personal issue for me. In other words, I demand more from myself than others (particularly males). I'm also extremely competitive. I can't necessarily say I've had a manager or colleague expect more of me than a male counterpart, but I might not have noticed because I do it to myself anyway.
I am exactly the same way and I work such long days that I wind up with adrenal fatigue (according to my dr) I need to strike a healthier balance but I am new to my role and between learning and wanting to get many points of view, things take longer than in the role that I was comfortable in!
I used to feel that way, until recently. Not that this doesn't happen still, because it absolutely does, but because I've been working on my own perfectionism toward myself.

I find that people expect me to be perfect because that's what I strive for. And when I do something that's slightly imperfect it's more noticeable.
Yup. I feel like I have to work more and earn my colleagues' respect. There's just not much room for slacking and being complacent as compared to my male colleagues.
