As an experienced hire, would you consider switching from a Consultant role at a mid-tier firm to an entry level Associate role at MBB? Worth the trade off?

I’m feeling stagnant in my career and looking for ways to grow. I was considering obtaining a PMP certification and wondering how impactful this is. Is this certification well recognized?

Currently a staff in audit - 6 months in. Glad to be learning a lot, and have had a generally positive experience at the firm other than a few interactions, some tough busy season nights. Really been intrigued by TAS/M&A, however, and had a few convos with a senior in TAS i know at the firm. It’s closer to what I studied, but don’t know how to make the jump as it seems an internal transfer could take 6+months/senior rank and a lot of convincing. Is it better to jump firms/has anyone done this?

I have an offer for a senior technical accountant role in HCOL. The base is about 103K. But I'm required to work on-site basically every week day. Due to this, how much more % wise do you think I can reasonably try to negotiate for? Thanks!

What is the best way to gracefully exit a small firm where the senior partner is very high-profile, knows everyone, and is likely to be personally offended by my departure? I did it! I got an in-house Paralegal position after years of working and being burned out at different law firms. I was going to leave the legal field all together because I was so burned out and depressed, but I decided to give the field one more chance if I was able to go in-house. Prayerfully, this transition will be a good one.
