AirPod pros… lol I feel like Fishbowl is turning into Google
Quora but significantly less creepy… well 🤔
HyperX Cloud Flight (and maybe other) gaming headsets use a noise gate to *eliminate* background noise. I've used mine in a deafening coffee shop when I could barely hear myself talk and no one on the other end had a clue. https://hyperx.com/collections/gaming-headsets/products/hyperx-cloud-flight?variant=41031691403421
For my top 2 wireless choices:
Bose quiet comfort
Sony Wf-1000xm3 / Sony Wf-1000xm4 (haven't tried these, but it's the newer model of the xm3)
Love my XM5s
Jabra headset for calls.
Bose for noise canceling, but know that when on those calls the mic picks up everything from around you.
Came here to say Jabra headsets are the only way to go

I just use my air pod pros. Haven’t had any issue connecting to my laptop via Bluetooth
Ah, yes. I work remotely so there’s usually no background noise haha
Airpod Pros are excellent. If you’re going over ear would recommend either the Sony WH-1000MX4 or the Bose 700 or Bose Quiet Comfort 45
I have the newest model… Sony WH-100XM5, comes out to about $450 but SO WORTH IT. Considering I work remotely and there’s a 26 story high rise being built across the street from my apt, cannot recommend enough for noise cancelling and call audio quality
I love my QC45s
The new AirPod Pros are a huge increase over the original pair. And if you can swing it, the AirPod Max’s are incredible.
AirPods max are the best headphones I’ve ever had by far. Sound quality + noise cancellation are unreal.
Pro if you don’t like over ear
Oh easy. QC35.
1) more microphones than the Sony options. Better teams/zoom calls
2) best midrange on audio - Sony favors bass.
3) long battery life- relative
4)Negative same design for the decade.
I use my Beats Pros that’s are over the ear and I LOVE them!
Love my Jabra Evolve2 65. Extremely comfortable, doesnt pickup noise next to you and best feature- you can mute yourself my simply raising up the microphone…no need to find the mute button on your laptop/screen
Air Pods Pro
Sennheiser Momentum 4

Doesn’t this defeat the purpose of open concept offices and “collaboration”?
None of my team lives in my city and we are remote. I need something better to utilize for client calls. I’ve been using plug in apple ones and as of recent I sound like a fish under water to the client and could use an upgrade

I have JBL reflect minis and I like them. They’re wireless and have a noise cancelling and an ambient sound feature. I like having both. They also have a charging case which is nice for travel.
Sony XM4 is great, Jabra is not great, would not recommend
Gaming headsets are the best for this.
Bang & Olufsen. You can’t go wrong….
Bose 700s are prime for this. Put on some soft working music and you don’t hear a thing around you. Someone will have to tap your shoulder to get your attention.
