At the initial stages of interviews for Sr. Product and Program Mgr roles in ATL at Amazon. Being asked “expected total compensation”, and looking for insight on what is reasonable? I’ve heard roughly $175 - $210.

Hey there! Even though the HM might be asking these questions, the recruiter on the other hand has so much power to increase/put out an attractive offer to an external. If you can, once you receive your incline or written offer get on the phone and talk to the recruiter. I did that 3 years ago and I came in making 20k more than my peers that got hired in at the same time. Best of luck!

Great strategy. I’ll definitely do this if I make it to the offer point of the process.

Sr Product manager tech can be more but non tech then that’s about right

You’ll be mostly cash for the first 2 years but the next two will be impossible to be more cash heavy. Aim to increase your bonus and reduce your second year RSU so that you maximize your base/cash ratio

Sounds about right for those roles

That sounds like a good starting point.

- about $2k on food and etc.
My saving goals is around $3k so been trying to adjust my monthly spending.

Thinking of switching employers. Do you think bigger retail stores (the ones that have several locations) are easier or harder to work at than little hole-in-the-wall grocery stores (which is all I've ever done)? It seems like the larger chain stores would have more downtime, but I'm wondering if anyone could give some input.

I expect to be asked at some point, but my research has given me a VERY broad range. So I’m here to do a bit more research. I’ve got 5 very relevant years of experience and will have an associate manager directly reporting to me. Are there any marketers out there who can share their salaries in similar regions and experience levels?

Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

This is the first time I've considered work outside of higher education. I said my salary expectations are minimum $90k and that didn't seem to be an issue. Am I asking too little, too much? I’ve been approached my by company that one of our large clients (who im currently project managing for) is looking for a consultant of sorts, and if they hire us, I’d be the first person asked to take on this consultant role. This isn’t something my company typically offers and would greatly change the scope of my role. Has anyone ever taken on a role like this? If so, were you able to negotiate a percentage of the consulting fee? Or was it a bump in salary during the project?

Does anyone have suggestions for what a salary should be for a Digital Marketing Analyst | Paid Social & Performance Media? I have 1 year of experience, the job asks for 0-1 year of experience.
