I've got a job offer from Deloitte Latvia ( Deloitte Central Europe) for the Riga City. The gross compensation is 3000€/monthly along with one time 2500€ as a relocation allowance with other benefits like 45€/month as Telephone reimbursement etc & other usual Deloitte benefits. Currently I've a ctc of 11 LPA at EY & 3.5 YOE. Is it worth accepting the offer after all calculations. #Deloitte #Europe #Latvia . Deloitte EY . Kindly provide some insights if u have any .
I have received offer from Qualcomm. They haven't mentioned about relocation bonus or accommodation in the offer letter. I have tried reaching the hr since the next day of hr round but they haven't responded to my calls or mails. Any advice on how to get accommodation and relocation bonus. Or is it not possible anymore? FYI I'm in city x and the offered position is in city y of another state.
Update :
After several follow ups Hr have agreed they will give the relocation bonus and reimbursement

Too late but.... don’t do this. We don’t need to add timelines to our stress. There is nothing you need to achieve by X age
100k in Dallas is very different from 100k in NYC.
A “six figure salary” as it was originally intended to mean in our lexicon is equivalent to about $300K nowadays.
Okay, thanks Dad
Does it matter?
Hey if I am going to feel shitty anyway, I might as well have a reason.
Please add your gender after age
Male, 32, 82k and I’ve worked hard my whole career (just mostly at Publicis, lol). Men get exploited too
I think years in the industry is more relevant than age. Just because some people start at 22 and some (like me) get into advertising in their 30s 🤷🏻♂️
Year 0: $38K, Year 2: 60K (changed shops/role), Year 4: $80K (promotion), Year 5: $90K (promotion), Year 7: $110K (promotion/fierce negotiations), Year 8: $125K (changed shops), Year 8: $140K (promotion/new role), Year 9: $150K (raise), Year 10: $220K (new company/new role). The advice I can give: Master the role you’re in, make yourself indispensable, don’t expect a yearly raise - expect it when you deserve it, don’t ask for a raise when the agency isn’t profitable - wait for a new win, leave shops with poor management, base your salary request with recruiters off of published ranges, step up for new roles, be kind. 35/M/POC
Thanks for this thoughtful response.

Yikes! Haven't seen this style since late 90s online gay personal listings. Different set of details obviously.
28, male, Nyc - for background, I started at 40K in NY, negotiated to 65K with my next gig (bc previous salary was based on a middle American market I came from w very low cost of living), got a raise and then negotiated a higher salary on top of that recent raise for the next move, then received a $10K bump every year, another $10k more for the next company, another $10K more for the next +solid annual raises where I am now. Moral of the story: you gotta jump around every 1-3 years to maximize earnings. Also, recruiters cannot legally ask you for your current salary so confidently and casually suggest what you want. You can always negotiate down to seal the deal but you can rarely negotiate up if you quote a lower figure. Also if they make an offer, you have more bargaining power than you think - finding qualified ppl is hard and time consuming...they want to close the deal and move on to other hires.

Wow I knew I was a loser but I didn't know I was this big a loser. No wonder everyone else seems so much happier than me. Very tough emotions reading this. Anger at feeling exploited and underpaid, anger at myself for not being good enough, disappointed, disillusioned, wondering why I am worth so much less than everyone else in this industry. Fuck this.
Ignore this nonsense. There is no measuring stick and no timeline. You may indeed be underpaid but just because someone else was 28 when they got paid $100K means *nothing*. Measure yourself only against yourself.
Please add your gender AND year that you hit 6 figures. Hitting six figures 15 years ago is different than hitting six figures today.
36, started new career at 31... black women
30 - I’m a woman working in nyc, I think context matters
I’m 42, and been doing this for 20 years. Still haven’t hit 6 figures.
