Young professionals/no kids = Midtown
Family w kids = Lilburn
Check out West Midtown. On the upswing. Usually good value for ITP
Inventory will be minimal is the popular areas - although I feel like O4W still has crappy houses that could appreciate with the area / renovation. You could get good return if you try to buy into Kirkwood and Reynoldstown now (although maybe a few months too late) which should see appreciation as long as all the Beltline developments go through (e.g., east side extension, Atlanta Dairies). West Midtown always seems like rentals more than sales but likely to continue appreciating. I feel like there's also a question mark on the Turner Field plans which could be a boon for that area. East Atlanta Village - maybe one day it'll no longer be upcoming.
I bought in Edgewood last year and had appreciation of 38% already. Would recommend reynaldstown Kirk wood Edgewood too. West midtown looks maxed right now. Hoas in midtown tend to kill investment value
I found this one on zillow but I also joined a couple real estate groups in atl to check out properties before they hit mls. I also did a lot of research on potential developments and infrastructure improvements. Happy to share sources not jump on a call if you shoot me a burner
Lot of condo/townhome communities if you go a little north of the core west midtown area. Check around Collier Road and Defoors Ferry Road. Easy access to 75 or 285 and ITP.
28/no kids.. single.. fine with just a place to live but would be nice if it appreciated too so curious if anything was on the rise in your opinions... it seems like west midtown has some nice apartments but wasn't sure which ones
Thanks both; A1 any advice on particular buildings.. and B1 that's good insight, don't think I have the patience to fix up a house, will probably try for something nicer, but seems like you're right
Thanks EY... can you just find on zillow or did you drive around?
If it has the word park in it...it's the ghetto don't
I can only think of College Park that follows your rule. Haha
