Bain & Company Bain Recruiting reached out after the final round, saying they wish to proceed but could not give feedback/share details about the offer/position which would be done by the Partner the following week. No Partner reached out yet in that week and when again asking Recruiting, they said Partners would need to discuss details with the regional team and this could take a bit longer. Been on the job hunt for the past 3 months. Applied to 200+. Interviewed with 15 companies (big tech + mid sized) but failing at either hiring manager round or ghosted after onsite. Feeling so stuck, anxious and frustrated all the time.

I’m so bad at writing the background/ facts section for briefs… it always gets heavily edited and no one is giving me constructive feedback other than “advocate more”. In contrast, my legal argument section is generally without edits. For context, first defense lit job post appellate clerkship. Is this normal?? Any tips for getting better other than “advocating more”?
