What are your thoughts about putting an explanation for the current gap (as in, I haven’t been working for several months) on your resume, LinkedIn profile or cover letter? If you think it should be included in one of these places, how would you do it?

There is an opportunity that I’m currently interviewing for that is very interesting to me. I’m interviewing two other places but I’m not responding to LinkedIn emails for other positions. The other positions don’t interest me as much. On one hand I don’t want to waste time prepping for all positions and rather put that time only for the ones that I have going on, on the other hand I feel like what is that falls through. Hi fishes, 26 of nov i give the interview after that 28 of nov i got a mail to upload document on ibegin and same day my doc is verified .

But in 29 of nov show two status in ibegin current and previous status in current it show resume is shotlisted and previous it show evaluation in progress.what it mean?

What do hiring managers want to hear when they ask "What's your process?" because I don't think I have one.

I've done 26 interviews in the last month and I half and I've gotten no where 🥲

I interviewed at Amazon for a PM role in Dec. 2020 and was ultimely rejected. I was told I have to wait a year to reapply. Fast forward to June 2022, another recruiter reaches out to me re: a PM role. I pass the screening interview, and move on to the virtual on site interview stage. I randomly get a call from the recruiter telling me there is now a TWO YEAR reapply policy in place so I'm not eligible to interview for any PM roles until Dec. 2022. Anyone ever heard of this policy? Seems strange

What are realistic expectations for 3rd Year Analyst / Direct Promote Associate bonus range at a BB? Note that at MS, 2nd year bonuses in my group last year were 90-115K, while MBA associates received a pro-rated 90K stub (~40k). Personally would be pretty unhappy to take a pay cut between 2nd and 3rd year…

Interesting all the noise about these PPT, my take:

The pandemic took all the upside of an IB analyst life (client meetings in person, fancy trips, suit up, worshiped at networking events) and left all the juniors with the downside (long hours, monkey-like type of job, aggressive work environment).

Not that the complaints are not sort of legitimate but you may need to revise the decision-making process that led you to accept a return offer. Specially if you were looking for less hours.

How do you find out who’s “top bucket” and who’s not? Do they disclose this? Also how do you become one?
