Has anyone interviewed with Amazon in the last 6 months. I finished my loop for a finance role. It’s been 8 business days and no update from the recruiter. I mailed the recruiter who said apologies for the delay but we will get back to you with next steps. Has anyone had this experience and what was the outcome Amazon

I received an email from the HR at Monitor Deloitte that I've cleared the case round and a back to back discussion with partner and director of the team will be scheduled. Been almost 3 days since this email, haven't received asking for availability from the scheduling team. This for a role with their Lifesciences Strategy practice in the UK. How long do they typically take to schedule the final round of discussions? Do they eliminate candidates in this round?

AE probably has more experience than you, but still needs to be on-boarded by someone, and it certainly won't be a director doing it. Hang in there, your time will come.
Agree w SDP, they probably have experience you don't. Just because you can onboard them, doesn't mean you can do the day to day and deal with issues that arise. Tell your sup to give you feedback that you can work on, so 6 mo from now, when another position opens up, you'll be ready!
Don't take it as an insult to your capabilities either OP. You may very well be ready (in your mind) for that promotion, but if you've only got one year as an AAE (total) that really isn't a ton of experience yet. Again, it's not meant as an insult, but you can't really expect to be promoted after a year. Take AS1's advice and meet with your supervisor to show that you are thinking about how best to move up, but not that you expect to be moved up. It'll happen, but take this time to learn as much as you can and become an expert at what you do. I'd much rather "feel" senior and be crushing it in a junior role than be moved up into a more senior role before I had the skills and experience necessary for it. Titles are meaningless. Experience is everything.
