So this might be a better place to post this and ask this question: Uncle D has announced explicitly that most people won’t get a pay raise & bonus this year except for those promoted and high performers. Amid this crisis, are companies including other big 3, MBB, FAANG, boutique consulting firms still giving high raises and issue stocks? Can you share the impact from your firm?
If I cannot get a referral due to not enough YOE, would it be still feasible to apply without it??

How many hours a year would a junior partner typically bill in your AMLAW 100 firm in a corporate transactional role (eg, M&A, emerging companies, IP transactions, etc)? It’ll vary of course but interested in what happens at your firm. I will start - AMLAW 50, junior partners are expected to bill 1900+, and that doesn’t drop off until at least 5+ years in as a partner or you develop a big book, whichever happens first.

Can we not call it TrumpCare or ObamaCare and just call it the Affordable Care Act like it should have been from day one. Stop playing politics with healthcare. People die from this BS.
Had my virtual on-site for an S&O L3 role 3.5 weeks ago (NYC, 5 YOE). I haven’t heard back on a decision yet, and was wondering how long it typically takes? I also know that I was one of the very first candidates to interview for this specific role, and there are atleast 2 more people scheduled for onsites. Does the recruiter typically wait for all candidates to finish their onsites before communicating a decision? Or if I haven’t heard back yet, it’s probably a reject?
How does one show personality in MBB interviews? How much is too much? Humour? Info about personal life? Specifically interested for BCG

What's the norm for consulting firms during a shutdown? Do people on non funded projects usually get furloughed or kept on? Asking because I've been at a bigger firm that kept everyone on during the last shutdown, but I'm at a much smaller company now that is going to furlough on a project by project basis (if your project is shutdown, you get furloughed). Just curious if this is commonplace among smaller firms/what the norm is for bigger ones as well? What's been your experience?
I’m three months into working for a content company that has never had a strategist and doesn’t have any project managers...just account, creative, and production and it is a complete mess.
