Hello, what is working in retail banking like at JPMorgan Chase ? Specially the branch manager role. I’m looking in the Columbus area. How is pay, culture, benefits, sales environment, meetings, etc. How easy is it to transition from retail banking to corporate. I hear the Polaris campus has great opportunities, I was thinking about getting my foot in the door through retail then transferring to corporate ?

I think you tell the first agency offering the role that with the greatest respect you want to honour the process and finish up the other interview before you can make a decision. If they say no and that they won’t wait then they have played their hand wrong for the market we’re in and are offering insight into how they will be to work for. I have had 2 candidates do exactly this (ask for time to finish up an outstanding interview or an existing employer discussion) and I’ve granted it (even though I really don’t want to lose them or sit around waiting) and both times they have chosen to work with us as we have been respectful vs strong arming them. It speaks to the culture of the business.
If you don't feel comfortable asking for a few more days to make your decision, then accept the offer. If the other firm comes in better, rescind politely and professionally.
Oof bad form.
