The culture is 50k better
Leave!!
How’s this a question?
Idk why make 50k less to pick apples when you can just pick oranges and make bank
You also don’t have to worry about independence and get 15% discount on our stock :)
Take the pay and if you hate it boomerang back to PwC after a year with a shiny new base salary
$50k for some people is a years salary. Take it and go!
Sorry were full
Accenture has a great culture! Big on professional growth and communication across the company. My friend who left to work for PwC says she liked it here better but don’t remember her reasonings other than she felt like Accenture has higher standards for quality of work so she dealt with a lot of frustrations with the people she was supervising at PwC.
Congrats and best of luck!
D1 I’m a Manager at PwC, ACN is offering promotion to Sr Mgr at $190k
Starting as a SM would be rough
D1, I'm only getting 140 base as a M. It's not fun but it happens.
PWC was only paying $140k at Manager?
Take it. Accenture is a great firm!
Haha, anyone know what the culture is like at ACN compared to PwC?
Why do you like your current gig? Look at it this way, you’ll leave PwC, gain $50k more, gain new work and meet new people. That’s a win. You’ll have to kick ass until your first review but after that you’re golden. Worst case, you are only there a year. Best case, you like it and you stay
I mean PWC is huge and Accenture is even bigger so you need to be more specific if you want real advice. If you want the usual, yes I love the culture and the people and we're definitely laid back compared to Big 4
I wish I worked at accenture
Thanks for all of the info ACN folks, very helpful! One of my main questions - what are weekends like (i.e. are they free for the most part)?
I left ACN for PWC and kind of regret it. Got more money to come here, but didn’t have to worry about independence there, stock discount, waaaaay better healthcare, etc. But as everyone says, definitely depends on project/workstream. I had some weekend work early on but not much. Similar here thus far.
