Going on my first international trip for work. Damn. These are where the points are really at... 30k EQM and ~66 k of miles.... not to mention hotel and Amex points. Getting to see awesome new places and work in challenging problems - I want more of these trips!!!

Are the larger hotel chains (Hyatt, Best Western, etc.) better to work for than the smaller one-off organizations? I'm sure they're not all the same but I'm curious

After 2 years of a pandemic and working independently for many years, I am not feeling interviews AT ALL. There are points in the interview where I want to just say "Look! Either hire me or don't".

Planning a trip to Rome and Naples with day trips to Tivoli and Pompeii. Is 1 week enough? I feel like reading through 3/4 day Rome and 2 day Naples itineraries, the trip seems rushed. I have unlimited PTO but my SO is limited in time (but luckily he can work extra hrs and then use less PTO). I would say max we could do is 1.5 weeks but adding on 3-5 more days seems almost too much? Thoughts?
