I just got an offer from EY in London but considering based on what the maternity policy is which doesn’t seem to be spelt out in contract or benefits pdf. Does anyone know a) if there’s a minimum employment period to qualify and b) what the enhanced maternity pay is. I’ve read both 16 weeks and 18 weeks.

I have received an email after my interview with HCL from consultant stating I have selected for HCL technologies and asking for information like, when U was interviewed and whether I received any link for documents upload from HCL.
I replied to that email saying interview has been done and I am yet to receive any link from HCL for documents upload nor any call from HCL HR.
Can anybody suggest, whether the process wil take time or where should I contact for further process.HCL Technologies

Like elastic, salary bands are designed to stretch
“I’m looking to make X” and offer no explanation. If they push say “based on my discussions with other agencies I think that’s within the appropriate range for my level.” And if they say no you say “Totally understand if the budget doesn’t work this time. Hopefully we can make it work in the future!” And be prepared to walk away.
I just told a recruiter, "if you get me more than x, then I won't counter you". Telling someone they can do less work if they just get it right the first time seems to be a decent motivator.

Must be screamed into the phone during interview.
You have to phrase it as if you’re doing more for them than they are doing for you.
If you’re a account director, and you’ve increased the profitability of multiple accounts then that deserves a raise. If you helped retain an account if it was put up for review, that is worth mentioning. So is mentoring younger account managers and account executives.

Saying 'Im prepared to walk away' is about 1/10th as powerful as having an outside offer in hand. Be careful with that one...
I turned down an offer. I told them it was a fair offer for a more junior person. Then I wowed a person in a high place and got the salary I wanted.
You have to be prepared to walk, and for them to say no.
Everyone does what’s best for them. We forget that but they know it. And you know they want you (bc of the aforementioned leverage). So don’t be shy about it.
How do you paint it as a win/win? For example, ‘What can you do to make it easy for me to stay.’
Awesome advice everyone
If your inside looking to negotiate and stay then I would say something along the lines of ‘Take a look at all that I am currently doing to keep the following of your plate. I think you need to ask yourself whether you want to have to take ownership of this while training someone new to do all this work and hope they do it as well.’
