Can someone discuss the pros and cons of having a gym close to work vs having a gym near home but still would have to commute there, go back home then go to work. To me it seems more convenient to just on the way to work go to the gym, shower, then go into the office.

I just got a really great offer, only downside is the eligibility for maternity leave is after 12 months of employment.
