Hi Fishes
I want to share very bad experience I had at Mastercard
I was given offer by Mastercard in month of Dec The hike was less but looking at brand & other perks I accepted the offer & was looking forward to joining them.I got few offers & I went back to them for sole purpose of renegotiating CTC, to have a industry standard hike. They didn't reverted back for 2-3 days & just dropped a mail that they are revoking initial offer as well on grounds that they didn't like i gave other interview

Cut them off a lot to show dominance. If it's not working hang up the phone.
Smile. You can hear a smile through the phone. Not a joke!
As nerdy as this sounds, I usually try to practice some power poses to pump myself up beforehand (standing up with arms on hips or open, chest puffed up and shoulders back, sitting up super straight with shoulders down). That whole "confidence is key" thing is just SO true. Take several deep breaths and remind yourself of ALL that you know. It's ok to ask lots of questions about the job or clients, but try to couch them in things you've researched. Ex: "I understand his role will be working on __client__. I've seen some of their work and it looks like they mostly work on lower funnel banner ads. Do you foresee this account shifting into higher funnel creative anytime soon?" These types of questions not only show your research and interest in the position, but also show that you really know your stuff and can ask pertinent questions to the job.
Stand up, call a friend before to test connection, have your resume in front of you, if you get nervous write an outline and follow the notes, keep taking big breaths, have a water bottle handy, use the restroom before the call.
Know the ins and outs of the company. Ask questions that haven't been asked many times before. And always send a follow-up email.
Be prepared for delays in conversation and just roll with it as gracefully as possible. Losing facial cues always makes me feel like I have to guess if they're done speaking. I wouldn't recommend interrupting or an overt show of dominance, but taking lead of the interview with a few questions of your own will present you as prepared and experienced. And it will give you a moment to reflect while they answer. Good luck!
Don't fuck up
Have a list of questions ready and take notes. Use the exact words that the interviewer used on the call and reference them in your follow up to show off you can listen well.
Stand up when you're interviewing, you'll sound bigger. Do it in front of a mirror, you'll be reminded to smile while you speak. 90% of your comms are via body language, so really animate your voice. Most phoners sound depressed in the call. Really paint the picture for them. When it's over, ask if there is anything else you can be clearer about before hanging up and try to solidify a face2face asap
Smile, not only will it sound like you love what you do but also make you excited and happy
(I became a recruiter to weasel my way into the business 10 years ago) learned a few things.
Remember that you are also interviewing them for the right position for YOU. They are fighting for you too
Have everything in front of you - use the fact that you have unlimited space for as many notes, material, etc. to your advantage. I used to have my planner, note pad/pen, resume, and laptop on deck. Additionally I'd take a piece of paper and label 4 quadrants: notes on company, notes about position, questions you want to ask, and notes to take. All sections aside from "notes to take" are filled out prior to phone call so you can keep all of your thoughts organized in one place. Also, although a table or desk works best for the above, BE COMFORTABLE. For a phone interview you aren't forced to get all dressed up and be ridged or watched. Being comfortable and relaxed will help you be as much yourself as you can - and face it the real you better than "interview puppet" you. You'll be more loose and it'll be a breeze. Lastly, go to the gym, take a walk, or be active in the morning prior - having the positivity from endorphins and a productive morning will boost your confidence. And lastly - eat breakfast to get your mind sharp, it's the most important meal of the day :)
Stand while you're taking the interview
