Trust me. Get one of those cards
You’re not playing the game right if you’re worried about the annual fee being too high on those cards. The CSR literally gives you $600 in Travel credit, far outweighing the fee. Add on all the other benefits and it’s a no brainer
Chase Sapphire Preferred
M1 has it right.
I think I agree with you M1, and I’m about to apply to it, just wanted to see if people had other suggestions before I did that. However, I only see a $300 annual travel credit on the website, not 600... where did you get that from?
you get What you pay for. if you travel a lot...the amex platinums perks outweigh the annual fee. Pay 550, I get about 2000 worth of benefits in return annually
Resets in December for early applicants. No longer the case. It’s 300, so effectively 150 fee which isn’t bad at all. If you spend 5000 on food/travel that’s covered.
The sapphire preferred has a $95 annual fee and the reserve is $150 when you take out the $300 travel reimbursement. $55 difference is definitely worth it
