If you’re early in your career, I would pick Accenture (or stay in Deloitte but assuming you’re leaving for pay) and grind out the terrible hours to learn and grow at a faster pace. If you’re later into your career, and you want to have more personal time to focus on other things outside of work and rapidly building skills is no longer the number one priority then go with Slalom. Accenture offered me a higher salary but I went with Slalom.
This is correct. Our promotion path sucks. If you value getting new titles and getting big raises, don’t come here. We get paid well, don’t get me wrong, I’m very happy, but we aren’t known for big raises and bonuses. Most folks come to slalom to get off the road and enjoy some WLB, then we jump to industry. This is exactly what I’m doing. 6 years on the road. Coming up on 4.5 at slalom, and about to jump to a Director role in industry with another 30% pay bump. Circle of life
Also those are like fundamentally different... what are you conflicted about? What do you like/dislike about the two? They’re not equal opportunities, it will come down to what you care about more, which isn’t something we can help you with
Accenture absolutely has a bigger brand recognition than Slalom
