I recently left after 5 YOE. I donât think I got many my first year. They started trickling in during year 2. Then years 3-5 it seemed like I was getting them every day, sometimes multiple per day.
What factors did you consider in taking the offer for the new role?
1-3 a day, mostly other PA firms.

The best jobs never come from recruiters. Gun for the jobs you want, the world is yours.
Lol wouldnt that be a funny cycle but sorry to burst your imagination.
I was at a different firm and EY recruiter reached out , how I ended up at EY.
As for spouse, Non PA recruiter reached out and got them hired within a matter of weeks.
Point is, if you apply on your own the process might take longer vs if you are scouted for - the process definitely moves faster.
You are in the know throughout the process.

What types of opportunities do you get?
I didnât get much my first year in audit, got some more my second year but I think it was because I added the CPA to my profile. When I showed myself as a senior, thatâs when the messages really started coming. It kind of comes and goes for me, where some days I get none and then the next day Iâll get multiple. Iâm not a manager yet, but I feel like senior and manager levels will get the most DMs.
I get about 4 - 5 a week at a minimum & don't have myself set as looking.
