I was interviewed 10 days ago n got email that I'm selected n asked to upload docs.They said my salary expectation is a bit high but I agreed to their mark(36% more than CCTC) as I was keen to get into that specific project.Now the HR called n said I can't be considered bcz of internal reason which can't be disclosed. She said "the market standards have been changed". I said evrythng was gud till ystdy rit. She said things changed overnight n she offered if I wanna join I can at join at jus >10% cctc

At EY, we just promoted a bunch of people this month, and leadership is saying that October promotions shouldn’t be affected. No bonuses, and all other comp decisions are very TBD. I’ve heard speculation that there will be raises, a freeze, and pay cuts from different people. Layoffs start July 1

Remains to be seen but the messaging was not “minimal promotion” apparently promoting at similar rates as in the past, including partnership

At KPMG, no bonuses and rumor mill says smaller raises, no planned layoffs at this point.
All the firms will be smaller in September than they are today - call it a layoff, call it performance related. The market dictates how many external advisors are required.
