What kind of books?

You based in Boston or SFO?

SFO. Fiction. Escapism. Trash. Come at me, you guys

Just read "time's arrow" by Martin Amis, would highly recommend. Think "memento" but in book form.

If you're looking for something stupid to laugh at "I hope they serve beer in hell" or any of the other Tucker Max books are hilarious. The movies ok.

Loooooooved cutting for stone and devil in the white city

Anyone ever solo travel for a long period of time after they’ve outgrown social hostels? I’m thinking of doing it once the world allows for it, but I’m not sure how I’d meet people along the way given that I do not want to stay in the hostel type places I did when I was younger. Female if that makes a difference.

Hey all! We are planning to go to the Florida Keys in April! We have no clue about the islands and want to know what all the excitement is about. If anyone has recs for which area/hotels to go to stay at, I’d appreciate it. We want a semi-luxury hotel, some nice amenities such as lazy river or hot tub, etc. doesn’t have to be close to beach, just somewhere where we enjoy the water and great food/ things to do! p.s. Key West is so popular but is that mostly for young crowd/college kids?

How much should I charge a friend to watch 4 dogs at their home over Christmas weekend (2 nights)? The dogs don't have any special needs or medications. I've dog sat for other people in the past but always for free. I also have had dogs of my own for most of my life. I want to start charging people for my services but also want to be reasonable since this is a friend and don't plan to charge a holiday fee. We live in St. Louis. Would $40 per day/night be reasonable?
