Hello fishes, need some guidance on the following questions - How is cognizant doing currently? Is it safe to join cognizant? How about the attrition rate, any improvement? How about job security? Do they layoff? Looking for some serious suggestions. I have a loan on me, and my package is low. And IBM doesn't give any hike. So was looking to switch. But afraid after hearing about current situation of cognizant. I am thinking several times before coming to a conclusion. 🙂 @Cognizant

at least at Goldman you find very little personal time. from what I've heard people at Microsoft and Google have a good work life balance
Oh , I see. Thank you. 😇
Well, at Atlassian, we mostly work asynchronously. That means very less meetings and you work when it suits you. Few common calls we must take, otherwise it's all flexible.
It's a wrong perception that a high paying job must be too hard with no personal time. I feel I had hard time maintaining work life balance in previous companies but few companies like Atlassian do actually provide it.
You will never feel mentally drained if you get quality work with ample learning opportunities along with enough time to maintain a healthy life.
That's very true. Makes sense.
Could you tell me how's the hiring done ? What do they ask in the rounds ? DSA , etc ?
It depends on the company culture.. GS is very competitive and a lot is expected of you. so far have had really long office hours and it has been really difficult to find time for personal life
Ooh .. that's really tough 😕
