Apart from the pandemic year, how's hike and bonus in EY GDS in general?

I've heard that last year was rough but in general its good. Is that true?

I'm joining next month. Can i expect an annual hike of 10℅+ and bonus > 10℅ (which is target VP at my rank, 42) going forward?? Or is this unrealistic?

Just got a job offer with CVS. To say the least I’m super excited to work for an Fortune 5 company. However, the job offer 1k less than my current company, but I thought this will be boost my growth and experience. Was my choices a smart move? Interviews with a private credit / direct lending / distressed real estate group have been going on for 6 weeks and now I’m waiting for the the final decision. They said that they’ll review the case studies and make a decision soon but does anyone know how soon :((( I’m so tired and exhausted and I really want the job so much. Technical was last week and last interview was yesterday. It’s a reputable American company - how likely is it that they’ll make a decision in 2 days?

Any thoughts on how do we deal with an incompetent boss who you dont look up to and have no trust that you would ever get credit for the work you would do for him/her? Given that changing the boss is not an option.
