Deloitte is worst B4
Go peddle opioids and come out with another CNN+
🤷♂️ recently pulled a Deloitte offer at 218k TC as a manager with 18 years experience. Comp seemed okay for the level of the position. I believe that was top dollar for manager level. I declined, got a much better offer. Deloitte seemed to be a mess internally.
Where did you end up going?
Depends on where you pulled this, some of these numbers seem off.
It’s from managementconsulted website
PwC ftw
Is this1st year post-MBA? seems high for KPMG and assumed same for EY and PwC. I think this may be more accurate https://managementconsulted.com/consultant-salary/ ... YMMV
My bad, I see what you did. Was just looking at base + bonus. I'm not sure if I'd lump in 'relocation' $s.
This is useless without including rank. Lumping C to SM as an average or whatever this is is dumb. But having left D for EY, I can vouch that D is one of the least paying for big4. I tried to boomerang twice within the last 2 years and was offered $15k less than I was making at EY. I now making $12k more at EY since D’s shitty offer. D really has the #1 talent experience in terms of time and expense apps/processes, they give you a whole separate work phone 100% free, they have really friendly expense policies, but EY paid me twice as much (promo included) so there’s no looking back for me. I’d rather make significantly more money. Which is a shame bc aside from the lack of pay I really enjoyed D
Were you in the S&O at Deloitte? How’s your experience at EYP now?
Correct. I just turned down an offer for a role that would have been considered a lateral move, except they tried to offer me 15% less than my current salary. They knew my desired salary range upfront yet did not come with their best offer initially. Games. Instead I countered their first offer. Their second offer still didn’t cut it. I walked.
That’s ridiculous 😅

Lol..you don’t seem to hang around on consulting bowl much, else you would already know the answer 😂
True 😅 didn’t use it much until recently

Deloitte does put up some big numbers for top performers in their Strategy/Monitor practice, but otherwise has always been less

Is this for MBAs?
Yes, just added the note

175k is correct for MBA hires, but there isn’t an S&O practice at deloitte anymore so it definitely is a little misguided.

No. Monitor is not an offering you can be a part of at Deloitte. It is our “go to market” branding we use when selling services.
The strategy group at Deloitte is called Strategy & Analytics.
Legacy S&O was broken up and spread out across S&A and several other groups like core business ops (CBO) and Enterprise Performance
Wondering how strategy and operations are making more than consulting on this list.
At my firm S&O is a backend role.
Interesting. Different definitions.
We have a strategy function which is front-facing then a S&O function which is backend - prepping documents, trainings, headcount, etc.
This confirms what I have thought all along, KPMG pays, if not the best is up there, and any KPMGier who comes here to complain about salary or promo are either too new or simply a low performer…
Which level are you asking for?
Yes, I switched from D to PwC and make way more than D
