Culture is really good - absolute vast majority of people are decent human beings who want their colleagues to succeed and will actually go an extra mile help them do so.
We definitely do a lot of marketing work so if a person is interested in this, ZS would be a good fit for them, although you are not guaranteed to work only in Marketing in the first few years, but you can specialise later.
One thing to be very clear about - we are a Pharma / Life sciences / MedTech focused company (>85% of our revenue) and the person should expect to spend most of not all their time in these industries.
Slightly disagree with ZS1 for a couple of reasons.
First is that it really depends on what facets of “marketing” they’re interested in. Though this has been changing a bit recently, focus almost entirely on upstream marketing strategy work and historically have done little in marketing execution.
And, yes, the majority of our work is in life sciences. But if they want to avoid that, they can just try to work out of Chicago, Seattle or potential San Francisco. The majority of employees in those office spend almost all of their time outside of life sciences.
I work in sf and everyone I know except for one person works in LS 😂
How’s the ZS Philly office given it’s a big pharma region?
Culture is really good, everyone in the office is super friendly and really wants their colleagues to succeed. The office itself is gorgeous. would say roughly 200 people in the office? Icould be off a bit. Way less are actually in office on daily basis like most consulting firms.
Pretty much all work in Philly is Pharma. Staffing normally occurs across the northeast so not strictly working with Philly people
