Job-Hunting reach-out to VC from previous fundraising effort for own startup
I have e-mail archive from 1y ago of my reach-out to 65 VCs in London: we had video calls, they might remember me still, who knows.
I want to send a reply/forward message to the same e-mail thread from abc@gmail.com, saying that I am looking for roles within their VC firm. Is that a good idea?
Or shall I just start new email thread and mention how I know them?

Someone's brother's uncle's sister-in-law's cousin's flight attendant.
Someone from here posted it a while back saying a manager at his hotel told him. I don't believe it.
^i heard it was the flight attendant's dog's pet turtle?
This is laughable. Marriott always disappoints no matter what and consistently shocks with underperformance on basic expectations. I am platinum at both and know Marriott will hose me one way or another. It's their corporate tradition. I heard Starwood employees are going to start demotivational training after the merger completes to ensure consistency standards
What? You're not lifetime at both already?
I in fact have Marriott Platinum for life. I achieved it when I crossed 1,500 lifetime room nights. Surprised the hell out of me too. I started in consulting before Y2K.
It's 750 night + 2MM points. I hit night before points.
I've been PLT for years at both (and current Hyatt Diamond and past Hilton Diamond). And I see very little service level difference between the two. If anything, very slight edge to Marriott.
