Seat at the best possible lighting and adjust camera. Open up my emails to look for the zoom meeting link. Then, I found out the interview is next Friday, not this one 🤦🏻. I don’t deserve this job 🥴

Just offered a marketing position with a startup based in Boston. It was advertised as a full time remote position. They offered me $10k below the minimum range I gave them during the interview because I am relocating from BOS to CLT, NC in September & they took into account “localization.” I have 7+ years of experience. The offer was made over zoom & I asked for an extra $5k to meet in the middle & will get offer tomorrow. It’s fully remote so did I mess up by not asking for my minimum?

I started a consulting job at an upper mid-tier firm back in May. I sat on the bench for a month before being onboarded onto client (FAANG client to be non-specific) and I am more than a month on this new client. There are about 5 other C/SC and a few Principals that do “check-ins” with the group. I have been assigned an ETL task (PySpark/Airflow) that will take me about 40 hours e2e to deploy. This is my assignment for the next 4 months. Most of my colleagues do not know code at all. Normal?
