(...) I'm fine with leaving the firm but am not sure the best way to get into consulting in Australia. I'm exploring in-firm options but don't want to limit myself. I've started applying to jobs without a visa at the moment, but am considering getting a temp working visa and using that. Anyone have any tips, experience, or success with this? Thanks!
If you are under 30 a working holiday visa may be an option to get there and get your foot in the door. That however is no guarantee of sponsorship once your visa ends.
Colleague did the move from AU to Canada few months ago and I'm exploring similar for next year. Maybe we should connect.
For sure, feel free to DM me
I heard companies there mostly look for “Australian” experience, whatever that means.
Lol ... you don’t necessarily need to be sponsored to get a work visa in Australia. You should probably do some proper research first ...

Lol ... yes I realize that, but I’d rather not spend $4k and wait over a year and a half to make a move. You should probably clarify before assuming first 😉
