Not related to a side hustle
But I force myself to exercise for at least 50% of the time I watch TV
So anything from weights to a treadmill, it really helped me slimmed down
Side hustle, maybe you could become a cam girl/guy
D1 definitely not what I had in mind lol!
Should have provided some context - I’m genuinely interested in how TV shows go from concept to creation and ultimately how we consume it. Our attachment to the actors, characters, storylines etc. I just want to take my interest and pivot it to something tangible...I thought a side hustle would be a good way to get me there.
This is not meant to be a “I want to get paid for watching TV tell me how” post.
Give yourself some inspiration by throwing away/selling your TV.
Lol my new favorite post
Why not write about it?
What city are you in OP? If there’s enough interest where you are, start a meetup group for connecting live with others about this topic. Invite speakers, host viewing parties, go to live events, then have facilitated or informal conversations over drinks and food.
I have thought about blogging but hesitated because I’ve never considered myself a strong writer. (I know I know...if one doesn’t try they’ll never get better 😅).
Btw, thank you for telling me about the film fest! I wasn’t able to attend this but I’m now actively looking for volunteer opportunities and other ways to get involved and meet people!
Take this course:
I have. He leads you down a path that helps you identify what you’re capable of and whether people will pay for your services. I’d def recommend taking it.
I love tv as well - curious if you have any recs? 🤔
D1 - I’ve seen both! Parks and Rec is definitely one of my all time fave. Can’t believe I forgot to list it ...but it’s hard to keep track of everything after awhile lol! I’d also like to How I Met Your Mother (crap ending and Ted and Robin tend to get on my nerves a bit but I genuinely liked the journey), Arrested Development, Marvelous Mrs Maisel, Scrubs and Community (LOVE the last two).
A2 - see above for comedy. For drama...there’s a lot lol. If you like the cliff hanger type then I suggest Prison Break, Dexter, Money Heist, Jane the Virgin (comedy and cliff hangers for you).
I enjoy fantasy as well, if you’re into that check out The Magicians or Good Omens (great cinematic experience for fantasy). Both are book adaptations and well done. Although, I haven’t yet read the book.
Lastly, one for all my Canadians - Murdoch Mysteries. 🙈 Lol, I love a whodunit show and this is set in Toronto in late 1800s/early 1900s when forensic science was just emerging in the field of police work. I also love that the writers tie in real past events into their stories (I.e. the Great Fire of Toronto). Feeds all my Toronto nostalgia. 😋
