Any body else struggling for a promotion ?
Hi Fishes, I have an interview with PwC AC in the coming week. My tech stack is Power BI, SQL, SSRS,SSIS and Tableau. YEO -4 Current CTC is 9 LPA. During the initial call with the recruiter he asked for ny expected CTC and I asked for 17 LPA. Can anyone from PwC comment on this? Is this too much to ask or is this what someone at my current level would get paid at PwC. Please let me know!!!! PwC PwC India Pwc AC Deloitte Deloitte USI

$76,000 seems very low for a manager. I would expect you to be at 85-100k at least. I was making 78k as a senior.

Dude. I’m an A3 in a similar COL. I’m making $64K, $70k w/ bonus. You should leave.
That is very low. Unless they get you to $100k this cycle, it is 100% time to bounce.

Are you at Eide Bailly? If you are open to remote work, I would find a remote job based out of CA and you should make at least $100k. Let me know if I can help introduce you to my recruiter or even my firm!

I used to work there and they ARE a great firm but the salaries are not the best.
Figured I was underpaid a bit. Only problem is that I can’t seem to get lucky with an industry job.
Most of the opportunities I’m seeing are offering mid-80s as base salary with standard benefits/perks.
What’s titling structure like at your firm? Is it like associate —> manager —> director —> VP? Or does it mirror titling at other public accounting? How many promotions have you had? Years of experience? What type of work do you do as a manager - are you leading engagement teams, have direct reports, delegate work etc. Is it possible manager at your T20 functions more like a senior at other firms? Not trying to justify them paying you what you’re currently earning, that 100% is low and you should bounce. But if it’s commensurate with the work being performed, then maybe not. Do they reward loyalty for you staying there? Bing increase %s year to year? Is the career progression good? Exposure to new things to broaden your skills? Lots of things to consider
@KPMG: Standard structure of other B4 and mid-tier firms.
I’m doing manager work now in comparison to my old firm in Phoenix (I was a manager in title only and was doing experienced senior level work for my first three months after being promoted. Moved to SLC in January this year).
Yeah I know S2s making 100+ in HCOL. You should bounce
