Is it practically possible to have career in ui ux without having any experience with art( self love towards art and drawing in general) , or design or graphics.

Almost all ui ux people I see on LinkdIn have one of the above. I am 29 yr old, coming straight Outta upsc preparation (failed) and some yrs before that in plain operations.

I don't like coding. Have some speaking skills...hence I chose this path. But 6 months into it..it feels highly highly intimidating.

Would love to connect with someone from Google as I'm targeting Product roles. I've over 7 years of experience in growth centric roles including user journey orchestration, CRM (in-app messaging , push notifications), usability research and user acquisition through paid channels. I don't have direct PM experience (haven't held the title formally).

Got a temp offer for less than a year without promise of turning into full-time. Wanted to know what ppl think about temp jobs (looks bad on resume if I don't turn full-time later within the company?) and what comp should look like (e.g. 1.2× of regular comp?).

Got another perm offer in a different industry for similar salary, but I might have to relocate and I'm concerned the work may involve translation instead of pure legal work.

MBB AP about to exit to non-FAANG tech. Would you expect a signing bonus and/or pre-determined severance pay if things don't work out with the new company? Anything else that people have negotiated during their exit? I'd be leaving a large amount of bonus on the table to leave before the end of the year.

T3 firm reached out re: direct admit to the partnership with some runway to grow the practice. I am at a firm now where there aren’t bright line metrics to make PPMD, but think I could make it in 2-5 years. This would be a step down in brand, but might be better from a WLB and getting to start at partner. Haven’t had firm comp talks yet but range was well north of 50% increase in cash comp from current (plus LT equity, draws, etc). Anyone take $ over brand? what are some traps to watch for?
