Case partners? Mckinsey interview coming up

Any advice on where to go after PR (financial & healthcare)? I have one year of experience and have been pretty disappointed with my current agency. I have a been actively interviewing & was thinking to go into the sales route. I graduated in 2021 and really have no idea where I want to end up. I’ve been talking to people & networking trying to figure out next steps— could use some insight. The culture at my current agency isn’t the best & the pay is basically unlivable for NYC. Any thoughts?

Are interview case studies difficult? Is it done live or is it take-home? What should I expect in terms of content/questions, duration, difficulty?

You are interviewing for a SC/SA position (they all have different names) and got 3 offers. Deloitte Strategy, EY-P, and Strategy&. Deloitte pays the worse of course, but do they have better exit opportunities? Or will all of these give me the same? Need help deciding

Do McKinsey (or other MBB) projects always only have one EM staffed on a project? I know that’s how their pricing is structured, but curious if some projects can be top heavy.

Hi, this is mostly a question for account management and strategists. I’ve been in advertising for a while, and am back in this market after working in others. The main thing I’m noticing that is driving me bonkers is the lack of client talent here. Across the portfolio I oversee it is very rare to get a client that understands how to brief an agency partner (creative or media or pr); there is limited capacity to really focus on objectives other than tactical KPIs.
Is this common/any advice?

help I literally never learned to properly case and have an interview coming up with BCG, what are the best resources for me to use?

Got my MBB offer as an Exp Hire! A few insights from my case prep. I practiced ~10 cases solo using Case Coach videos. I'd watch the interviewer speak, pause the video, practice (speak out loud, ask questions, explain my approach, even time myself), then play to see what the candidate did, and evaluate myself for gaps.

I also learned the evaluation criteria and internalized the generic case frameworks.

I do work in consulting and had done live case interviews 5 years ago
