Case partners? Mckinsey interview coming up

Hey guys,

I interviewed with Wipro a week back. I had the final HR round and every process is done. But the HR is saying that she is waiting for approval for my salary. Only after that she can release the offer letter. It's been more than a week since that discussion. How much time does it take from final HR interview to getting the offer letter?

I interviewed for a position remotely 3 weeks ago with the 3 partners of an agency at the same time, and it went well. The CFO then took 30 minutes after the initial hour to talk more and she asked that I reach out to her for more questions as well as to let her know when I have relocated as I told them that I am about to move.

After 3 weeks, I sent a follow-up note to the HR contact and no response all last week.

Shall I try contacting the CFO directly since she did ask that I do? Thoughts?

I was contacted by a recruiter just before I went on maternity leave. We stayed in touch and now, a month into my leave, I am preparing for a first interview at Google for an interaction designer role. First, any tips on how to prepare for this interview? Second, I feel like if I’m doing all this interview/material prep, I should go all in, apply at other big companies and try for multiple offers. Would I be wasting time since I don’t want to cut my leave (goes to July) short?

Hi everyone! I need some assistance. I recently had an internal interview with another team and the hiring manager made some wildly inappropriate comments during the interview about people of color and women including “we’re lowering the bar when making a diversity hire”. It all felt so wrong on so many levels. Obviously I won’t be taking the position if I’m offered it but is there anything I can do beyond just not take the job?

I am interested in applying for a software engineering position at Google. I don’t live near a Google office and am not in a position to move. Are there teams that work full time remote at Google?

If I was laid off from an agency, can I ever apply for a job there again?

How long does A&M and Houlihan take to get back to you? I applied for a role I think I’m well qualified for and haven’t heard from either recruiting teams. It’s been a week.

Hi everyone - does anyone have insight into whether it is possible to still be offered a role if out of 4 interviews, 3 were lean hire/hire (RRK1, G&L, RRK2) and 1 was lean no hire (GCA)?

I got an offer and want to accept but have an interview coming up with Mckinsey. Would it be a bad look if I tell the recruiter that I can’t interview? I want to leave this door open so I can reapply in the future. FYI I am not at all prepared for this interview😭

Need to vent. I feel like giving 100% (let’s be honest, usually more than that) to work isn’t enough anymore. My projects get my undivided attention, but I’m too mentally exhausted to participate in all the workplace extras. The groups, the communities, the talks, the panels. The concern that it makes me look bad always lingers in the back of my mind, but as a working parent I don’t know how else to say it… I’m drained. I just want to do my job really well and then spend time with my family.
