Cleared L1 interview for a Cloud Engineer role at Capgemini. Interviewer explicitly said I was selected, but the recruiter later called to say "not selected." Soon after, I received a generic automated "Midway Journey" email from HR.
​Has anyone else faced this contradiction in Capgemini's hiring process? Does "Midway Journey" mean the position/budget was frozen, or did the recruiter just override the technical decision? Trying to understand if I should push for clarity.

Has anyone here had to give a 90 day plan in an interview? I’m on round 5 now for a field role, and I was informed this will be what the final interview consists of. Panel of 5-6 supposedly. Any tips or advice on what/how to present? How to prepare? Is it kind of like a quarterly business review sort of thing?

Salaries have really been spiking. I am curious what the salary for a Principal/ Junior Partners would be in a mid-sized accounting firm now. In January I was approached for $200K for a senior manager role. Now a head hunter has approached me with $225K.

The style of leads my company provided was different than what they have me doing now. It went from hot inquiries to cold call center calls. Now HR called and was asking aren't you interested in the offer , HR said that client tried to contact you but you werent responding.
But I didnt receive any call from anyone ..
What is this client call ?
Is the process normal ?
Like I have heard the client calls would be after joining the organization .

I'm accepting an offer with a new company... Start in early Aug. Senior Manager role, though in this company that equates to Manager at most consulting farms. They did not had hunt me. I came to them for the job.

I have COVID delayed vacations planned for the last week in August and the first week in October.

Should I just cancel one of them? Or should I at least put both on the table and see what they say? They're going to hire me either way, but I wonder if it's a bad start to ask for both.
