Abandoning Green Card
Has anybody experience in giving up the LPR status after leaving the US for work and residency in another country/homecountry? I come from a low tax country and wonder whether Uncle Sam will send a final tax bill or penalty fee or even make it difficult/impossible for me to abandon the GC once I will leave the US again. Interesting investment opportunity with PSTH. Biggest SPAC with Tontine warrants. In short, for every 9 common shares you buy and hold through the merger, you get 2 shares priced at $23. The price right now is $26. I would get in and gradually increase by a multiple of 9 and hold until at least Dec 2021
