Current Situation - due to bgv not completing as one of my company as per CTS is black listed so they changed my hiring from permanent to contractual role.
Please guide as I have no knowledge of contractual roles. 🙏

Also I'm not sure what kind of effort you are putting into your considerations but a first start might be to look at the website, since practically the first bullet point should tell you that you have too many years work experience to be a BA. Clearly you have not done your homework.

No, you should not / cannot consider the BA role, which is hired with a maximum of 2 years of work experience. You could in theory apply as an associate but lateral moves are tough and chances are best when there is a strong desire for specific skills.

Depends on what you want to get out of the McK experience. If you're seeking MBA sponsorship, then sure, apply to the BA program.
Since you're really not entry level anymore, you could probably come in as a JA if your profile is good enough.
Why have you spent 2.5 years as a bta? Are you underperforming or just hired off track?
My guess is you would need to get some degree, maybe a one-year MBA to be considered for the associate position. That's what I would do in your spot

Yes. Maybe you could make a case for BA2. But I wouldn't… Expectations will be that much higher, and you may sabotage your odds of getting a job in the first place. Better to get in and then prove it.
Well OP said 4 yrs relevant experience, so 1.5 yrs at boutique, move to Deloitte now 2.5 yrs as BTA? Didn't know you could do more than 2 yrs at analyst level.. surprised you didn't make it to C by now, especially coming in with experience
Don't jump to conclusions. There are Feb hires who have to wait 2.5 years to get promoted to Consultant, anything earlier than that is considered early promotion.
I think Tech may have a slower promotion timeline than S&O so it may not be this presumptuous OP is off track (yet)
