my cousin is working as a design engineer(related to mechanical engineering). He is havjng 4+ YOE for the same role. He has done diploma in data science from IIIT-Banglore in UPGRAD. Now he wants to look for an oppurtunity in IT field. Can someone let us know the process if u r aware of so that it would be helpful for him. he has done few live projects in UPGRAD in order to get his certification. Upgrad is 1 year course Cognizant Tata Consultancy Accenture Infosys Deloitte EY PwC KPMG

the bonus structure is usually set up so you make 20% and you also receive 3-5 year goals that payout even more to incentize you to stay. Obviously, you have you have to be able to survive on the base, but weighing the quality of life changes with higher long term upside may be worth it. Plus you may have an agency working for you and you will be part of the small pool of clients that are well-loved and "get it"
Yep. Same thing, major entertainment company, freelance, and their freelance pay was the same as my current full time pay (which basically meant I'd be taking a pay cut).
clients either pay less or a lot more but require an MBA. usually it's the former. but typically the pay off is a 9-5 job instead of a 9-10pm job. :)
Client-side usually pays less. I was a Client for 3 years and didn't get a bonus at all due to lack-listed business and overall economic performance (recession).
