Contango is a fantastic opportunity in the region right now as the company is thriving and in need of people to join asap. It offers a fantastic work life balance which is in much contrast to the other consulting firms, while doing consulting with clients at very high level.
Compensation wise, coming from out of ME it will make sense. Coming from the region and considering benefits and WLB, it does make sense.

Unless, you are desperate to move to the region, Contango is a serious downgrade from your current employer, regardless of what they pay you. I am sure someone will chime in with the comp stats.

It's a captive consultancy owned by the government. Just go and check who works there, you should see a very heterogeneous group, with many having zero consulting experience before Contango.
McK and all the big consulting brands have their own issues, but there is no doubt that going from McK in the West to Contango is just not sensible save in very specific circumstances.

OP, if a strong pipeline is your justication for the move then go for it. They are definitely in a better spot because of who they are in this region as compared to most global brands. You are too early in your career to make a downward move from a brand perspective but it's your call.

Most of you are plain wrong - at the end of the day, Contango is a growing company that is starting to get it together. All of the comments focus on the same topic - lack of structure. It a matter of time this is fixed.
Most of projects are transformation, true - but they also have their fair share of strategy projects in clients that MBB/T2 do not even dream of.
Worth considering the move. Risky - true. But potentially high-reward.
