Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

Hi All, I am about to have salary discussion for an opportunity with Credit Suisse. Can you please let me know what is the max salary that can be offered to 11 YOE Java developer joining in AVP position? Do they offer VP position to 11 YOE by any chance? Also how is the current situation within CS considering all the financial turmoil and layoff news? Will it be a wise decision to move to CS from Barclays at this point of time?

How much CTC offered? Most likely if the team is hiring that team won't have issue
CTC Offered- 32 LPA
If you're happy with what they've offered Don't waste any time and just join. What's bothering you? If it's about job security? any Financial firm at any stage will not provide that a 100%. CS is a great company and even if you have to look for a new job which I'm hoping won't happen you'll still be up to negotiate a higher salary than what CS has offered you.
