How do folks who are already at MBB (coming directly from undergrad) financially justify getting an MBA, given you’re already so highly compensated? Isn’t the opportunity cost astronomical both in real dollars, missed salary, and progression?

What are some Exit ops for EY advisory PI-finance?

Any good recommended books on how to build a scalable product and team? I'm looking for recommendations for two areas: 1) in general laying the groundwork in a startup to have the tools and especially processes in place to scale, and 2) tactical focus on building a SaaS project. I am currently in an IT internship position (making pretty solid money considering) and following this summer I will stay on part time during my senior year (discussing a full-time job offer after already). I’m getting my computer science degree, so I would like to do something more technical in the workplace when I graduate. What do you think about switching tech stacks vs becoming an expert in one stack? I am a backend Java engineer, and have solely used Java since I've started my software engineering career about 2 years ago. I don't know whether I should explore other tech stacks while I'm young, or instead focus on becoming a Java expert, given that I enjoy working in Java.

Two people do the same job but one is paid more or given a larger bonus “because they have kids and you live alone” or “because their family is struggling”. My title is technically Marketing Lead but I want to put Head of Marketing on my LinkedIn etc. I think of these titles as totally interchangeable—I just like the way the second one reads better. I know titles don’t really matter, but I’m battling a little bit of imposter syndrome.

I am not in law school yet. But I was wondering where I can find out about other opportunities besides the standard tax attorney route. I am almost a CPA and currently in audit.

I’ve heard people say that despite having a legal degree that pay between CPA’s and lawyers evens out at manager level. Is there any truth to this?

As a law student interested in going into the field I’ve seen a lot of negative comments saying that only lawyers who couldn’t get into big law go into PA. Although I know most people try to get into big law initially, it is very competitive and many don’t stay past 2-3 years. You certainly don’t make as much going into PA as a lawyer but the pay is certainly not bad and the WLB is generally much better. Can anyone speak to how they got into PA and if you would rather be working in Big Law
