I prepared a presentation for an interview with a sales leader, it went well and I was offered a final interview with regional manager. The sales leader I interviewed with gave me a bunch of feedback, but said to find out information about tech stack, which I for some reason, didn’t consider. I come to find out that deep, hidden within the website of the hypothetical client, they use the service already. Do I roll into the final interview and play dumb or do i present and then come clean?

Do Leidos, SAIC, and other mostly-fed consulting businesses pay bonuses to all levels? If so, what does a typical bonus target look like? Booz Allen does not pay bonuses until you get to the Senior Associate level (1 step below Director) and I think that impacts employee performance and work ethic pretty dramatically. I’m wondering if not paying bonuses is common to federal contracting because of how the contracts or priced, or if this is something unique to Booz Allen.

Curious what the base and commission structure is for inside sales and associate director of sales in biotech (also anyone else who wants to share pls put industry). Paid hourly or salary? At the biotech company I work at avg inside sales is $62,632 with a $3500 per quarter cap. Commission structure is % based on sales quota reached vs capped (not a direct % of sales). I’m underpaid at $53000 with $3500 cap per quarter.

I am looking to move because for some reason I am hand-held a lot and given simpler tasks, so I am getting bored and want more challenging / much more fast paced environment. Here is my idea for a startup! I collect all the data from career transitions and use Data Analytics to predict the most likely career transitions. I could start with consulting. What do you guys think about this? I would be able to predict based on your firm(mbb, big4), your experience, which role you are likely to move (Faang pm, strategy manager, move to mbb). $325k TC at MBB in a non-generalist (still partner track) path. Love the intellectual variety, smart colleagues, flexibility (WFH has let me take occasional 2-3h windows during the day for personal activities) - can’t take the stress anymore.
