I just started a new job this past week and I’m realizing my boss is a huge asshole and doesn’t have a great reputation in the company.

It was hard to tell during the interview process but ultimately I don’t think I’m gonna enjoy working for them. I have two other job offers I declined the other week that I could potentially go back to and see if they’re still interested in me. Is that crazy? I just have this feeling with my current employer that it’s just not gonna work out.

I’m going to apply for my first camera operator job soon. I have a demo reel, but I don’t know how to make my resume look appealing. Can I add unrelated work if some of the soft skills required are the same?

I have been interviewing with OW for about 5 months. Started interviews in late December, finished in March and now waiting on an offer. They said they were going to extend but it’s been weeks where they are “finishing up there offer”. Any insights into what’s going on? I’ve let them know I have a competing offer and they all but ghosted me.

Does 54k for a “Senior Producer” in Dallas sound right?

Is this legal? My spouses company just decided to change their comp structure for account managers. It was base + comm, now it’s commission only but nothing changed, OT commission is the same, didn’t get more points, just took away the base pay and said work harder basically. So now they have to worker harder to get $50k they were already making. (Not a decision based on employee performance, they’ve been crushing it. I think the company is just trying to save money they overspent else where)

How do you guys decide which city is HCOL , LCOL and MCOL? Obviously CA & NY is HCOL, what about Dallas?

While interviewing has anyone been asked by the interviewer what qualities they (the interviewee) think are needed to be successful in the role? What’s the purpose of this?
