Anyone have any recommendations for home office ergonomic desk chairs?

Is anyone’s wfh office chair getting less “springy” over time? Mine just doesn’t have the same umph it had before, constantly lowering throughout the day.

Do you know what is the salary range for a Senior Manager II at Walmart Home Office?

1099 or w-2 ? I have been given the option though the company prefers w-2. It’s a day rate booking couple of months or more (no end date). I already have 1099 from similar company this year and am leaning towards 1099, but I don’t want to be difficult. I do take home office deduction and they are not supplying any equipment. An offer HSBC is in pipeline ( 28 fixed as per Recruitment consultant). Position offered is Senior consultant specialist.
However I know that there is scope of pushing the offer till 36. Any inputs on getting the offer to desired figure would be helpful.

Just finished watching Downfall, call me naive but it amazes me how not one person got jail time.

For partners with kids ~13 and up. How many sporting/music events do you find yourself missing? I’m making it work with weekend stuff, but I know as they get older more happens during the week.

Are private companies easier to work at than public companies in accounting? We have such an accelerated close deadline at the publicly traded company I’m at now, I really hate the inflexible tight deadlines and analysis seems to drag on forever after that. We also close AP/AR very early in the month yet that doesn’t stop payments/receipts from happening so we’re constantly adjusting our accruals until the end of month. Do private companies start their close after the month actually ends?
