Debating a role in the c-suite advisory capacity. In general, is it better to have exposure to higher level within the organization for career growth?

I know most of you would appreciate the exposure and opportunity to shine, but I'm worried about risks/failures and mission criticalness/time sensitivity of the role itself. Is it simply just a matter of high risk high reward.

I am in a period of growth in my role (in house and getting more exposure to top management) - im grateful for it but I also have constant anxiety during and after work hours. Does anyone who’s been in a similar position have tips for riding this wave? Hoping it’ll get easier.

Any SAP EWM fish in here? I am new to SAP and just finishing my first project in EWM. Would like to continue building Expertise in this Module.
I am therefore looking for advice on how to go about this?
Which areas within EWM to focus on or start with to build a good foundation.
I have not had formal training so just learning on the HUB and by doing as I go.
But I feel like I need to focus on one area. I cannot decide how/ what though.

What is the average salary for an Account Manager position? For context, the agency is 100% remote and doesn’t base salary based on the employee’s location. Was originally told $80k but was then informed the recruiter made a mistake and that it will likely be mid-70s at the highest.

Hi all, I’m looking to learn about how one can transition from PwC AC to PwC India.
I joined PwC AC Bangalore as a fresher and have been working here for 13 months.
I was randomly assigned to SAP, but I’ve realised I really want to move away from this and move towards what I originally planned on pursuing i.e. data analysis, I was already well versed in ML and DL with python.

I’ve made it to the 3rd round interviewing at three different firms over the past month, and the feedback I’m getting has all been very similar: they think I’m really great, but it’s not the right time. Why spend 4-6 hours interviewing me just to say there isn’t actually a current role for me? Should I be reading between the lines (if so what does it mean?) or pressing harder for more detailed feedback?

How is Flipkart for Work life balance? I have ~5 years of exp and hold an offer of 32 + Stocks. Also the expectation is to know Java but during the interview process , there was no discussion of Java or any questions asked. Although the team has asked me to invest some time in learning Java but I’m skeptical about all of this as the position is Data Engineer II so not sure how the expectations will change. Even if I invest time in learning Java I can be at a beginner level.

So will i be able to get to data science after these business analyst roles. Does business analytics include the data science and development. Or should i look for better opportunities.

I have been offered 120K by EY Canada for Manager role in Supply Chain Consulting team. I have total 9.5 YoE and in Supply Chain domain. Is it a fair offer? I am employed with EY India for past 3.5 years and being offered the same level at Canada.

Working as CAL Manager with Accenture S&C India. Offered ~GBP 76.5K (fixed plus flexi) at Manager Grade by Deloitte London.

Prior to Accenture, I have already served as S&O Manager with Deloitte India for ~1.5 yrs - so this would be my second stint with Deloitte as Manager "again".

2 questions:
1. Should I ask for Senior Mgr (AD) grade - to which they have already said NO
2. Is GBP 76.5K sitting at the lower end of M grade in Deloitte UK? What should be a good expectation for the role

What is the best airline for consultants out of Chicago for loyalty program optimization?

Does EY or other consulting firms actively monitor where the employee is working from (and I mean different country here) if they’re not currently expected to come into the office?

Has anyone tried doing this? I’m sure they can find out, but do they even bother as long as the work is in order or the counsellor/partner doesn’t specifically ask?

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. I have a whole bunch of certifications in my industry…but just no formal degree. (cont'd)

I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."
