Deciding between Deloitte and EY. Both M1 positions with the same base compensation and signing bonus. MCOL city. Deloitte would be in the Ops Transformation practice and EY would be in Tech Consulting (both focused in the industry I specialize in). I know the bonus target at Deloitte is significantly higher, but other than that what would the major differences be? WLB, culture, exit ops, benefits, etc.? Thanks y’all.

Immigration lawyers had sent me a questionnaire to fill out for Manager PERM. They now just came back saying that they need to assess me for a different position. Anyone else experience this? I wonder if this means they’ll now just file a Senior Perm instead? Asked them but they’re not very responsive.

I don’t think people understand what the difference between conservative and liberal judicial philosophies are. What exactly is expert track consultant at MBB in terms of qualifications , pay, progression compared to general? I’ve been working in FANG PM for a few years and I’m getting bored. I’m considering moving to MBB.

Told a friend of mine in tech I was considering moving to BCG. He asked me if I would have to move to Boston.

I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."
