1) In speaking with HCM, it does not seem so as they place based off fit as roles arise.
2) believe this is pretty set in stone given roles are filled vis the program on an ad hoc basis.
For #1 it’s generally acceptable to do that, as long as the roles are relevant to your experience/interests and somewhat related to one another. For example, equity options trading and delta one may take advantage of some similar skills, so it wouldn’t be unheard of for someone to apply to both.
Depends on the role but if they find out be prepared to answer why do you like A more than B or vice versa
