Hello All, I have offer in hand of 27.5 LPA+15% variable from ZS Associates as a BT Solutions delivery consultant and now my current company is ready to retain me by matching the offer & assuring that they will send me onsite to UK in couple of months. Now I am in a dilemma of what to do as I have been looking for onsite opportunities for my entire career so far. Kindly share your thoughts. Often better to buy domestic first class fares at 1.5 cent per chase point and also earn EQD, EQM and more miles with first class fare multipliers on EQM. Vs. normal ‘award’ redemption. Especially when you don’t have status and can’t cancel an award redemption for free.
1:1 transfer to Hyatt is great as Hyatt points still worth quite a bit, typically get more than 1.5 cents per point.
And if you are set on international business class award travel you can still transfer to lots of airline programs.

Makes sense! Thank you. I will have to close delta credit card. Its just really useless for $250 renewal fee next year.

So, I have Delta/AA/United credit cards. Wondering which card to use on day to day basis that gives me the max return per $ spent on the card. Delta seems pretty useless. Given I don’t have any status with delta. Gold with AA & Silver with United.
Amex gold ;)
BTW like everything else in the airline industry AA and UA will copy what DL has done a few years later.
DL has led the way in ‘dynamic award pricing’ tied to cash fares and getting rid of fixed award charts. UA has already announced they will be doing it too.
AA and UA have moved to dynamic award charts, but in a much more customer friendly way (as demonstrated by lower award prices, particularly close in and for premium cabins).
