Actually sold 500 stocks yesterday @$949. No regrets!

uplifting

OP: the cost basis was a mix. Most of them bought around early April ~$475. Then another 100 ~$700 (right after that stupid Elon tweet). Lol.

I just got in (ouch) so no

Well in terms of percentage, I do think I’ll double my investment in 5 years. Even though I won’t need the cash in 5, so it’s definitely a long term play. And I view Tesla as a maker with potential to surpass the # of cars sold by BMW / MB etc. It has a long way to go to reach there, but I think it’s possible which will tremendously increase the stock value

Been holding since 420.69

Picked up at 205 and then more at 500. Hopefully we will see a drop and I’ll get back in

I’m 26 and have a fair chunk of my NW tied to Cloudflare - a tech stock that I believe has the opportunity to 3x and become a $100b+ company over the long term. Similarly, I have a lot in cloud computing etf - WCLD.

Given short term rotation out of growth stocks, I’m confused on what to do. I think we still have some time before growth stocks bottom out, but do I sell?

I would consider myself a “long only” investor, but am unsure what to do given my lack of diversif

No crazy luck in crypto or investments. Just basic saving, 401k, ESPP and low expenses. Next step is to start investing by myself and taking some risks!!!

26 y/o and a total investment newbie.

I have $100k from an annuity invested with Schwab and managed by a brokerage firm. My parents set me all up with this when I got access to the funds at age 21. So I’m not sure of the complete breakdown other than the fact that it’s diversified according to my tolerance for risk

Now, I also have $25k liquid cash I’d like to do something with. Should I just add it to the existing portfolio, or create a separate, self-managed account?
