Hi all,
Do firms match offers from other Big 4s for campus hires? I’ve received a campus offer from both KPMG and EY. I’m more interested in the EY offer, but they are paying 3k less than KPMG.
Would it be a bad move to let them know about the other offer and try negotiating? I feel it wont make a difference in the long run, but at the same time I don’t want to leave any money on the table if possible.
Thanks!

There is, but they don’t always need to be on the interview if it’s quite obvious one way or another… who do you know that you’re done done?
That’s a reflection on leadership/culture, not you.
That doesn’t really mean anything, you’re probably still in the running
Go for it. Doesn’t hurt anything. But to share my original hire experience at Deloitte - I had over 12 interviews (tech and behavioural) over 8 months because they kept losing my file, HR people on leave, emails lost, etc. this was for an M position. I still applied elsewhere and such but ended up here in the end and still here as a D many many years later.
Honestly, with how slow our recruiting is you’ll probably be in the running for the next 6 months before you’re told yes or no
My hiring process was 8 months long for C role, 6 years ago
Depending on the level you are interviewing, what level is it?

Seems like you are already Deloitte op? Are you transferring internally? If yes, then it is possible that ppmd isn’t on the interview. Not typical but possible. Also, some follow ups might help speed up?
Reached out to hr and they keep changing the dates so I might reach out to the manager who interviewed me
Yeah D Canada seems to show this culture! When I interviewed for M, then had the same 2 SMs interview me twice. They got back to me after like 4 weeks saying yea to the offer but I was a little bit surprised that they didn’t have a partner conversation even for a M role. I rejected the offer coz I felt that’s a bad culture thing
