Yes and no. We didn't cosleep when they were new born or infants. But now they are 2-3 years old, we occasionally cosleep. These are the sweet time.
This. It’s happening more often which I heard is normal. Used to just be when he was sick.
He needs to be fully pressed against me for some reason, so it’s not really CO sleeping when I can’t get a wink in but I do love it ❤️
No, as tempting as it was at times - my 9 m/o has been in her own crib since day 1
Same here. Had some sleep regressions with our 4 year old where they wants us to Colleen but working out of that now
Rising Star
Yes, I have ever since he came home from the hospital, we follow the Safe Sleep 7. I adore the cuddles and feel so much safer because I can hear his breathing and we all get much better sleep. We’ll transition him to a crib in a month or two, he’s only 10w right now.
Yes and still - he is 15months old. Best nights of my life 😍 we started when he was 2.5months old.
Pro
We did not cosleep for overnight sleep but do sometimes cosleep with the baby for naps. My youngest is 11 weeks old; my older kid is 2.5 and we never cosleep - he craves the stability of his own space and routine for sleep.
No never have as we were first too afraid of SIDS and now that our oldest is 3, we wouldn’t get any sleep.
We started co-sleeping at around 4 months. My little one is almost a year and we are going to start transitioning him to his own room.
It’s been nice. It helped with us getting a good amount of sleep. Worked well since we are still breastfeeding.
I started cosleeping with my LO around 4 months, it started as half the night then just the full night. We share a California king and I started by following the breastfeeding/co sleeping safe seven rules. We still co sleep and even though she's a terrible sleeper it's the best time of my life. She is 22 months now.
No. We had the halo bassinet which pulls up right over the bed and it’s *almost* like they’re laying in bed next to you.
We then moved him to a pack n play and later a toddler bed (we were in a much smaller 1bd apt at the time and he slept in our room until we moved when he was almost 3. Around the last year, he’d end up in our bed around 4am, but the rule is that he always had to fall asleep in his bed and spend the majority of the night there.
